  • Order PJC/1222/2024, dated November 6, publishing the Council of Ministers Agreement of November 5, 2024, declaring the “Zone Severely Affected by a Civil Protection Emergency” for areas impacted by the Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA), which affected extensive regions of mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands between October 28 and November 4, 2024. This includes notarial, registry, procedural, and organizational measures within the Justice Administration. Link: BOE
  • Order HAC/1223/2024, dated October 25, updating the electronic portal of the Ministry of Finance. Link: BOE
  • Instruction of November 5, 2024, from the Directorate-General for Legal Security and Public Trust, modifying the Instruction of October 25, 2022, on the right of option for Spanish nationality established in the eighth additional provision of Law 20/2022 of October 19, on Democratic Memory.   • Royal Decree-Law 7/2024, dated November 11, adopting urgent measures to implement the Immediate Response Plan for reconstruction and recovery in municipalities affected by the DANA from October 28 to November 4, 2024. Link: BOE
  • Resolutions of October 29, 2024, by the Directorate-General for Legal Security and Public Trust, activating the DICIREG software application in the following Consular Offices: Amsterdam, Bern, Zurich, Brussels, Dublin, Edinburgh, Luxembourg, and Naples. These offices will now operate in compliance with the provisions of Law 20/2011 of July 21, on the Civil Registry.
