- War in Ukraine: After 1,000 days of conflict in Ukraine, the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) has published a report highlighting the critical role of national courts in determining eligibility for temporary protection. The study emphasizes that coherent and harmonized judicial decisions across the EU are essential to ensure effective and uniform protection for those displaced by the war. Link: EUAA.
- Temporary Protection: The European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) has released the 2023 AIDA Temporary Protection Compilation, a report analyzing the implementation of the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD) across 19 EU Member States and three non-EU countries. - Draft Order for Collective Management of Hiring at Source for 2025: The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration has opened the public consultation process for a draft order regulating the collective management of hiring at source for 2025. - Erasmus+ 2025: The European Commission has announced a €5 billion budget for Erasmus+ in 2025, marking a 6.5% increase compared to the previous year.
