Today, the Official State Gazette (BOE) published the communications received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation regarding the International Treaties to which Spain is a party, corresponding to the period from July to September 2024. This information has been made public in accordance with Article 24.2 of Law 25/2014 on Treaties and other International Agreements.
This law establishes that the Government must inform about the communications received regarding multilateral treaties, providing transparency and ensuring access to key information that affects Spain’s international relations.
Highlights of the Publication
Among the most relevant treaties notified this time are important declarations concerning human rights and international security. For instance, Poland has reiterated its commitment to the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice, while Peru has updated its state of emergency in various regions of the country due to issues such as illegal mining and citizen insecurity.
